imposter insects (NPR, Maddie about science)
Fake snakes, mimicking moths and walking leaves: insects have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to surviving in the world. For an NPR episode of Maddie About Science, I joined a small production team to go behind-the-scenes at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum insect zoo to find out more about nature’s tricksiest mimics. I pitched the concept for this episode and contributed filming and research.
